Bike Fest South Africa is the biggest and most exciting cycling event to hit the calendar in South Africa.

From being able to ride almost every single brand in one space, there are exhibitors showcasing the latest products, a dedicated jumps area, an outdoor IMAX-sized cinema and talks by leading cycling experts, celebrities and riders.

Bike Fest aims to bring everything cycling into one space over the course of a weekend, starting early each day with dedicated womans workshops, a jam-packed day for the entire family (yes, bring wives, husbands, kids!) from test riding your dream bike through to getting hands on with the latest and greatest in cycling tech in our expo space, there is also a huge stage featuring talks and presentations all day.

It’s taken two years to realise, and months chatting to all the bike brands in South Africa, but no matter what cyclist you are, there are more than 120 bikes for you try out on our purpose built tracks.   Whether you want to try that long travel trail bike, or that lightweight CX machine, we’ve worked hard to ensure that all your big (and small boutique) brands have a full fleet of bikes for you to try out.   Back to back testing will help you choose your next steed!

Full day out for the WHOLE family…

A kiddies bike park, play area and pump track also keep the younger guests entertained (children under 12 are free), whilst parents not only enjoy everything bicycle related, but a full fleet of food trucks keep you topped up and a beer garden for those wishing to hang out until movie time starts.

More than 28 talks, presentations and classes are on stage during the day featuring your favourite cycling heros, fitness gurus, action photographers, technical classes, and each morning on the weekend, dedicated ladies breakfast followed by a masterclass.  This action throughout the day leads into…

Evening Mountain Bike and Cycling Film Festival!

With the largest outdoor screen in South Africa, Saturday night has two headliner films premiere, one mountain biking and one cycling lifestyle focussed.  With the ever increasing genre of incredibly shot and edited cinematography pushing our sport forward, Bike Fest aims to being an evening of entertainment under the stars to you, with movies, food and drink.
